Job summary

Woodridge Assisted Living Facility in Monroe, NC seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care to residents, assist with ADLs, and support the nursing team. You will monitor health, promote dignity, and ensure a safe, compassionate living environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, state-approved CNA training, and at least 1 year of healthcare or senior living experience. CPR/First Aid is a plus, and a background check is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare, senior living, or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Support residents with eating, hydration, and nutritional needs.
• Help residents maintain personal hygiene and comfort.
• Measure and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with medication reminders and basic healthcare tasks under supervision.
• Foster meaningful relationships and encourage participation in activities.
