Qualifications

• Must hold current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
• No history of patient/resident abuse per State Registry.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel/bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use, and bed positioning.
• Documents personal care given according to facility policies.
• Observes and reports changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns.
• Reports immediately all accidents or injuries.
• Records all necessary charting entries and responds to call lights and emergencies.
