Job summary

Belvedere Senior Housing in Merrillville, IN is seeking a Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents on the 2nd shift. You will deliver individualized care per each resident’s plan and assist with ADLs while promoting independence and dignity.

You will report health changes to the clinical team and engage with residents and families in a compassionate, meaningful way, participating in ongoing learning and team meetings.

Qualifications

• HD-high school diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA certification from an accredited program.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Must demonstrate ability to serve with love, compassion and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized care based on each resident’s care plan.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living while promoting independence and dignity.
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
• Connect with residents and families in a compassionate manner to create positive experiences.
• Participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
• Comply with confidentiality and privacy rules for resident information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
