Job summary

Lexington Country Place seeks CNAs to join our dedicated care team. The CNA reports directly to the Director of Nursing and will provide hands-on care in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods, aligned with each resident’s PSP.

Shifts run 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am, with every other weekend; PRN shifts are also available. Candidates should have a High School diploma and valid Kentucky CNA license, and be committed to quality, compassionate care for elders.

Qualifications

• High School education preferred and may be required by the state.
• CNA licensure in Kentucky required or preferred depending on state rules.
• Experience working with elders or in memory care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the development of Personalized Service Plans and attends plan reviews with families.
• Maintains hydration schedules and ensures residents dine or room service as appropriate.
• Documents meals and ensures accurate room/service records.
• Adheres to resident rights and assists with activities.
• Monitors resident cleanliness, clothing, continence, and changes in condition.
• Follows sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
• Inspects resident rooms for cleanliness and safety; notifies housekeeping as needed.
• Assists with laundry and common areas, securing hazardous chemicals.
• Completes ADLs per PSP and responds to call bells quickly.
