Job summary

United Presbyterian Home in Washington, IA is seeking a Certified Nursing Aide to assist nursing staff in delivering compassionate resident care under supervision of a registered nurse.

This full-time position operates on a weekend package: Friday–Sunday, 6am–6pm, with three paid weekend days off per quarter; includes benefits and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Completion of State Certified Nurse’s Aide course and passing Iowa approved competency exam.
• Previous experience in hospital or nursing home desirable.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as a part of a team.
• Strong sense of responsibility.
• Sincere desire to work with the geriatric population.
• Well groomed, courteous, tactful, patient, kind and pleasant when caring for residents and working with other staff.
• Dependable and reliable, reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to cooperate with other personnel/departments.
• Ability to anticipate needs and moods of geriatric residents helpful.
• Ability to care for Dementia residents is desired.

This WEEKEND PACKAGE position is for FULL TIME hours. Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6a-6p! 3 paid weekend days off per quarter!

FUNCTIONS:
