Job summary

Jackson Ridge Healthcare Center in Maquoketa, IA seeks compassionate CNAs and CMA to join our healthcare team. Part-time and full-time shifts available, day or evening, with a $500 sign-on bonus.

You will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support nursing staff in providing high-quality care with dignity. We value patient-centered communication and offer a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification from an accredited program.
• Entry level to 2 years healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Help patients with mobility, including transferring, walking, and using mobility aids.
• Assist with feeding patients who require help, ensuring dietary restrictions are respected.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, including tidying up rooms and changing linens.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
• Assist nurses with basic medical procedures and support with medical equipment.
• Follow patient care plans as directed by nursing staff, ensuring all care is provided with respect and dignity.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain sanitary conditions within the facility.
• Must participate in training and continuing education as required to maintain certification.

Requirements/Qualifications
