Job summary

Junction Point Post Acute in Herington, Kansas is seeking a compassionate CNA or CMA to join our new chapter and provide routine nursing care under supervision. You will work with our Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, and Director of Nurses to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a school for nursing assistants or have a license as a CNA/CMA.
Minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience during training.
Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
Desire to serve the ill, aged, and infirm.

Responsibilities

Perform duties per established policies, nursing care procedures, and safety rules.
Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to provide care.
Verify resident ID before care or meals.
Report missing ID bands to admissions promptly.
Make beds and clean bedside/overbed areas.
Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled, and reachable.
Assist with other duties as directed by supervisors.
