Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College – South Bend invites applications for Adjunct Faculty in the Healthcare Specialist area. Part-time positions are hired each semester to provide effective instruction and assessment within shared syllabi.

Responsibilities include delivering classes, developing syllabi, and maintaining records while supporting a respectful, diverse learning environment. Minimum qualifications include nursing licensure in Indiana (RN or LPN) with at least one year of licensed practice,

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of current technologies and credentials per ASOM 7.1.
• Must be a licensed Indiana nurse with at least one year of CNA/Nurse experience (LPN or RN).

Responsibilities

• Deliver classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
• Develop and maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials.
• Maintain accurate student records and grades.
• Engage with students in meaningful ways to impact learning and provide positive Ivy Tech experiences.
• Interact with students and colleagues professionally and in compliance with College policies.
• Ensure knowledge of and implementation of emergency and safety procedures in all learning environments.
