Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking an adjunct nursing faculty member to deliver clinical courses and create a learning environment that helps students reach their goals. You will instruct and assess students using the college syllabi, maintain attendance and grading records, and coordinate with the program chair as needed.

Minimum qualifications include ASN and PN program faculty standards, at least three years of RN experience, a current Indiana RN license, and a majority of nursing faculty

• Ability to communicate concepts to students to assist in their learning.
• Ability to organize tasks and establish priorities with little or no direct supervisor input.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing courses and facilitate student learning.
• Provide syllabus to students and ensure content.
• Maintain attendance and grading records.
• Follow timelines and required documentation.
• Coordinate with program chair to resolve issues.
• Meet all scheduled classes.
• Utilize classroom technology (Canvas, PowerPoint).
• Adhere to FERPA and other regulatory standards.
