Job summary

Washington City Mission seeks a Certified Nurse Aide to support the RN/Manager of Medical Services in the clinic, providing basic assessment and care to residents and eligible community members. You will manage patient flow, perform vitals, document care, assist with medication reconciliation, and ensure accurate health records while maintaining a compassionate Christian ministry mindset.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license/proof of registration.
• 3+ years of experience in nurse aide field.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow related to clinic operations (sign-in, waiting room maintenance, scheduling).
• Take and record vitals; document health records in progress notes.
• Fax prescriptions and assist with pharmacy communications as needed.
• Enter patient data into Mission Tracker for outcomes tracking.
• Maintain patient health records and organize charts.
• Assist with medication reconciliation checks for residents.
• Keep treatment rooms stocked and assist with supply inventory.
• Sanitize and clean patient rooms after visits.
• Perform receptionist duties including phone handling and front-desk tasks.
• Assist patients with DPW insurance applications and program entry processes.
• Provide tailored patient care for medication management, ADLs, and tests as needed.
• Assist RN/Manager of Medical Services in intake processes.
