Scenic Living Communities in Iowa Falls is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct, hands-on care to residents in a nursing home setting, aiming to maintain their physical, mental and emotional well-being.

The role supports residents with daily living activities per the care plan, completes care documentation, and reports changes to the Charge Nurse. The organization emphasizes safety, infection control, and residents’ rights throughout daily operations.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant training completed and competency exams passed as required by statute.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident’s quality of care and quality of life.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living as outlined in the care plan.
• Completes documentation of resident care as assigned.
• Reports changes in resident’s condition immediately to the Charge Nurse.
• Attends facility meetings and in-service trainings as assigned.
• Follows infection control guidelines and safety procedures.
• Observes residents’ rights including privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
