Job summary

Allure of Galesburg is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Galesburg, IL. You will provide high-quality resident care, assist with daily living activities, monitor health, document care, and maintain privacy and dignity in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois CNA certification required.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Provide personal care and hygiene support, including ambulation, transfers, and positioning.
• Monitor resident stability, including vital signs and weights, and record intake and output.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests, and observe residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Complete required documentation, including forms, reports, and records.
• Maintain resident privacy and dignity, and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing education and training, and perform other duties as assigned.
