Job summary

ICFAI is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support unit and patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role may access patient health information and potentially medication storage areas as related to duties.

Schedule is 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM for 36 hours per week. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, current BLS certification, and good standing with NC DHHS Division of Health Service Regulation. Must lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Listed with North Carolina DHHS Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test and lift up to 30 pounds.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required unless a current high school student participating in the CATS program for the NC
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
