About the Role

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and skilled Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide quality resident care at skilled nursing facilities in Greenville, South Carolina.

In this role, you will support residents with daily living activities, promote comfort and dignity, assist with mobility, and help maintain a safe and clean care environment. You will work alongside licensed nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive attentive, respectful, and consistent care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, toileting, and other activities of daily living.
  • Help residents with safe transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility using approved techniques and equipment.
  • Assist with meals and hydration according to individual care plans and dietary or swallowing precautions.

  • Work collaboratively with nurses, fellow CNAs, and other members of the care team.
  • Report suspected abuse, neglect, injuries, and safety concerns through the appropriate channels.
Schedule and Work Environment

This is a PRN position offering shifts based on facility staffing needs and confirmed availability. The scheduled day shift runs from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.

CNAs should be comfortable working in a busy skilled nursing environment, providing hands‑on resident care, managing competing priorities, and maintaining professional standards throughout the shift.

PRN scheduling does not guarantee a set number of hours or shifts.

Required Qualifications
  • Current, verifiable CNA certification and eligibility to work as a nursing assistant in South Carolina.
  • Ability to provide safe, hands‑on resident care within the CNA scope of practice.
  • Ability to work the scheduled 7:00 AM–7:00 PM shift and reliably travel to the assigned facility.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and time‑management skills.
  • Understanding of resident rights, dignity, confidentiality, infection control, and fall prevention.
  • Ability to follow care plans, recognize changes in resident condition, and promptly notify licensed nursing staff.
  • Willingness to complete required onboarding, competency assessments, and applicable background and employment checks.
  • Ability to meet the essential functions of the position, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, nursing home, rehabilitation center, or long‑term care setting.
  • Experience caring for residents with dementia, limited mobility, incontinence, or increased fall risk.
  • Familiarity with safe transfers, repositioning, gait belts, and mechanical lifts following appropriate training.
  • Experience obtaining vital signs and documenting resident care.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records or electronic care documentation.
  • Availability for additional PRN shifts, including weekends, when needed.
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, attentive to detail, and committed to resident safety. They demonstrate sound judgment, remain calm under pressure, communicate concerns promptly, and work well with nursing staff.

Candidates should understand that PRN work requires flexibility, reliable attendance, and a commitment to the shifts they accept.
