Job summary

BrightStar Care of Greater Chester County is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide to support clients in their homes with personal care, mobility, and companionship. You will work closely with nurses and families to ensure comfort and safety, following established care plans and infection control procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Home Health Aide certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Pass background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help clients safely move around their homes and attend appointments
• Monitor and report changes in client condition
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Work closely with nurses, families, and healthcare professionals
• Follow all safety and infection control guidelines
