Responsibilities

• Geriatric care support: provide bedside care and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).

• Patient transfers: assist with transfers using mechanical lifts and positioning.
• Clinical charting: document vitals, intake, and behavioral changes in EHRs.
• Floor collaboration: coordinate with RNs and LPNs to maintain care environment.
• Support nursing staff in delivering quality patient care.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment with infection control protocols.
• Build positive relationships with patients, families, and staff.
• Participate in training to enhance patient care skills.

Agency CNA – $24/hr (Weekly Pay / Every Thursday)

Location: East Elmhurst, NY 11369 (Nursing Home facility)
Base Pay: $24 / hour
Overtime Pay: $36 / hour
Schedule: 7AM-3PM (Day), 3PM-11PM (Eve) & 11PM-7AM (Night) - Full-Time & Part-Time hours available!

• In-Person Interview Required: Must be able to come to the facility for a brief face-to-face meeting.
• Active NYS CNA License
• Must be able to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday).

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Geriatric Care Support: Deliver compassionate, high-quality bedside care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Resident Personal Care: Assist with patient bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, continuous rounding, meal assistance, and dignified personal care needs.
• Patient Transfers: Safely perform mechanical lifts, positioning, turning, and ambulation transfers for long‑term care and sub‑acute rehab residents. Provide mobility assistance, including transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other locations.
• Clinical Charting: Monitor and record patient vitals, nutritional intake, and behavioral changes into electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Floor Collaboration: Coordinate with staff Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to maintain a seamless healthcare environment.
• Support nursing and medical staff in the delivery of quality patient care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
• Build positive relationships with patients, families, and staff to foster a supportive environment.
• Participate in training and ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care.
