Empro-Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a Mt Vernon, NY nursing home facility. The role offers $23/hour base pay with overtime at $34.50/hour, and both full-time and part-time schedules.

The position requires an active NYS CNA license, in-person interview, and availability to work every other weekend. You will provide geriatric bedside care, assist with ADLs, and collaborate with RNs and LPNs to maintain a safe, compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

• In-Person Interview Required: must come to the facility for a brief face-to-face meeting.
• Active NYS CNA License is required.
• Must be able to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday).
• Experience in geriatric care is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Geriatric Care Support: Deliver bedside care and assist with ADLs.
• Resident Personal Care: Bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, meals, and dignity in personal care.
• Patient Transfers: Safe transfers using mechanical lifts and positioning.
• Clinical Charting: Monitor vitals and nutritional intake; document in EHRs.
• Floor Collaboration: Coordinate with RNs and LPNs for seamless care.
• Support nursing and medical staff in patient care.
• Maintain clean, safe environment with infection control.
• Build relationships with patients, families, and staff.
• Participate in ongoing education to enhance skills.

Location: Mt Vernon, NY 10550 (Nursing Home facility)
Base Pay: $23/hr
Overtime Pay: $34.50/hr
Schedule: Day, Eve, & Night - Full-Time & Part-Time hours available!

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Geriatric Care Support: Deliver compassionate, high-quality bedside care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Resident Personal Care: Assist with patient bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, continuous rounding, meal assistance, and dignified personal care needs.
• Patient Transfers: Safely perform mechanical lifts, positioning, turning, and ambulation transfers for long-term care and sub-acute rehab residents. Provide mobility assistance, including transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other locations.
• Clinical Charting: Monitor and record patient vitals, nutritional intake, and behavioral changes into electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Floor Collaboration: Coordinate with staff Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to maintain a seamless healthcare environment.
• Support nursing and medical staff in the delivery of quality patient care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
• Build positive relationships with patients, families, and staff to foster a supportive environment.
• Participate in training and ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care.
