Job summary

The Orchards is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to assist residents in an assisted living setting. Part-time shifts on Sundays and Mondays (2PM-10PM) and full-time Tue–Sat available, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

• Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Competency Program with current CA certification.
• Experience with customer service is highly preferred.

• Ability to work in a healthcare environment including Skilled Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning and exercising.
• Assist with transfers, transports and escorts as needed.
• Keep rooms safe and orderly, change bed linens and make beds.

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant- Assisted Living

Part Time: Sundays & Mondays (must work both days)

PM (2PM-10PM)

Full Time: Tuesday through saturday

As a CNA, you will assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising. You may assist residents with transfers, transports, and escorts as needed. You will keep rooms safe and orderly, this may include changing bed linens and making beds. The CNA takes a holistic approach to meet resident needs including assisting with meal service in the dining room, maintain clean and organized living space and engaging the resident in activities that enrich their lives. As a CNA, you are required to work in Skilled Nursing when needed.

What you will bring

Our ideal candidate will be reliable and follow safety procedures and duties assigned by a supervisor.

• Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Competency Program, with current certification in the state of California.
• Experience with customer service is highly preferred.
• Required strong communication skills and the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to work in a heath care and CCRC environment.
