Job summary

HMR Veterans Services in Amarillo, TX invites you to join our dedicated, on-site team as a Certified Nursing Assistant. This role focuses on delivering compassionate, resident-centered care to America’s veterans, upholding dignity, respect, and teamwork in a mission-driven environment.

You will provide daily nursing care, assist with activities of daily living, monitor health changes, follow care plans, and maintain a safe, clean setting.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license/certification in accordance with state regulations.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to providing dignified and respectful care to Veterans and residents.

Responsibilities

• Providing routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents.
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Supporting residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Observing and reporting changes in residents' condition to nursing leadership.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
• Following individualized care plans and facility policies to deliver exceptional resident care.
