Morningside House Senior Living in Waldorf, MD is hiring CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) for full-time and part-time roles, with 2PM–10PM shifts. Qualifications

• Requires CNA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with care needs and comfort.
• Provide oral hygiene and mouth care.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and transfers.
• Assist with nail care, shaving, and hair care.
• Monitor and record residents' condition and report anomalies.
• Ensure beds are made and residents' safety is maintained.
• Follow policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

Available Shifts

• Full-time: 2PM-10PM
• Part-Time: 2PM-10PM

CNA Certified Nursing Assistant- Essential Functions

• Assists with resident care needs and comforts.
• CNA Certified Nursing Assistantassists or gives oral hygiene and mouth care.
• Assists with bathing functions and dressing/undressing as necessary. Records anomalies (i.e. bruises, cuts, rashes, swelling, etc.)
• CNA Certified Nursing Assistantassists with nail care, shaving and hair care.
• Assists with lifting, turning, positioning and transporting residents.
• Makes both occupied and unoccupied bed (as assigned).
• Checks residents frequently to assure that their personal care needs are being met
• Adheres to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

CNA Certified Nursing Assistant- Requirements:

• A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires a CNA licensure
