Morningside House of St. Charles is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to support residents in a leading assisted living and memory care community in Waldorf, MD. We offer full-time, part-time, or PRN/per diem schedules with a 2PM-10PM shift option and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident care needs and comforts.

• Assist with nail care, shaving and hair care.
• Check residents frequently to ensure personal care needs are met.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of the facility.

Available Shifts:

Certified Nursing Assistant CNA - Essential Functions:

• Assists with resident care needs and comforts.

• Certified Nursing Assistant CNA assists or gives oral hygiene and mouth care.

• Assists with bathing functions and dressing/undressing as necessary. Records anomalies (i.e. bruises, cuts, rashes, swelling, etc.)

• Certified Nursing Assistant CNA assists with nail care, shaving and hair care.

• Assists with lifting, turning, positioning and transporting residents.

• Makes both occupied and unoccupied bed (as assigned).

• Checks residents frequently to assure that their personal care needs are being met

• Adheres to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Certified Nursing Assistant CNA - Requirements:

• A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Requires a CNA licensure
