Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, CNA certification, and a valid driver’s license. Training in American Sign Language is a plus.

Qualifications

Overview

POSITION: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA

A compassionate person who provides care and assists with activities of daily living for Deaf Adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities in a group home setting.

Work Hours: Part-Time Weekends 7a-7p; 3p-11p in the Baltimore area.

Salary: $18.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Provide care and assistance with activities of daily living for Deaf Adults with IDs in a group home setting.
• Assist with toileting, bathing, and feeding.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Assist with lifting and transferring of individuals as needed.
• Assist with medical appointments and transportation as required.

Expectations

• Must be a team player with patience, a positive attitude, and respectful conduct at all times.
• Provide daily reports to the Manager and maintain clear, detailed communication.
• Annual physical and flu vaccine required.

Qualifications
