Job summary

Manahawkin Health and Rehabilitation Center in Manahawkin, NJ is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our team. Full-Time or PRN positions available with a $5,000 bonus for full-time staff.

CNAs will support residents with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, assist with mobility and transfers, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment. Weekend and holiday availability is appreciated.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in New Jersey.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct professional care to residents, including activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers and exercise programs.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight and other health indicators.
• Observe residents' condition and report concerns to supervisors.
• Support residents' nutritional needs with meals, hydration and feeding.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, including making beds and linens.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers while ensuring comfort.
• Document care provided in medical records and charts accurately.
• Communicate effectively with residents, facilities and team members.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and urgent needs.

In this role, you will work closely with our nursing staff to provide excellent care to our residents, assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

CNA Requirements
