Job summary

Cypress Village in Jacksonville, FL, seeks compassionate CNAs for 12-hour shifts with weekend availability. Join a senior living community where you’ll provide quality nursing care, assist residents with hygiene, monitor vitals, and document care under the RN/LPN supervision.

A flexible schedule, paid time off, and benefits are offered. Requirements include current Florida CNA license, CPR/first aid is a plus, and the ability to follow care plans and work independently.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification or upon hire.
• Previous experience is great but not required.
• Has the ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services provided.
• Is self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Is kind, reliable, and compassionate.
• Must have a current nursing assistant license (CNA) in the state of Florida
• One year of CNA experience preferred
• Current CPR and first aid certifications a plus
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Uniforms provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality-nursing care to residents and assist with hygiene needs.
• Measure and record temperatures and blood pressures.
• Observe and record residents' reactions to medications and treatments.
• Participate in organization and prioritization of residents and unit activities.
• Follow care plans set forth by RN/LPN and report pertinent information.

• Provide quality-nursing care to our residents, Assist residents with hygiene needs, Feeding, bathing, and dressing patients
• Measure and record patients' temperatures and blood pressures
• Observe and record resident’s reactions to medications and treatment
• Participate in the organization and prioritization of residents and unit activities
• Ability to follow a plan of care set forth by the RN/LPN
• Report pertinent information to the RN/LPN
• Proper documentation of daily ADL's
• Exhibits empathy, dignity, respect and concern for resident's well-being
