Dawsonand Dawson Home Care, LLC is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide one-on-one, in-home care to seniors and adults in Beaufort County. The role focuses on safety, comfort, and independence at home, following individualized care plans.

Must have dementia care experience and be able to handle transfers, toileting, and bed-bound care. Availability for flexible full-time or part-time shifts, with a strong emphasis on reliability and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on dementia care experience and behaviors.
• Active South Carolina CNA license in good standing.
• 1–2 years nursing or home-care experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care per client plan (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and fall prevention.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals per dietary needs and assist with feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping related to care (laundry, dishes).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Observe changes and report to office promptly.
• Document care accurately (clock-in/out, visit notes).
• Arrive on time and follow call-out procedures.
• Protect client privacy and confidentiality (HIPAA compliant).
• Provide transportation to appointments using client’s vehicle.

Dawson & Dawson Home Care is hiring dependable, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide one-on-one, in-home care to seniors and adults in our community. You will help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home, following each client’s individualized plan of care.

MUST HAVE PRIOR AND HANDS ON EXPERIENCE WITH DEMENTIA CLIENTS AND BEHAVIORS, ALZHEIMERS, REDIRECTING BEHAVIOR, TRANSFERRING, TOILETING, AND CHANGING BED BOUND CLIENTS.

Key Responsibilities

• provide personal care according to each client’s plan of care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care
• assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and fall prevention
• provide medication reminders
• prepare meals according to dietary needs, and assist with feeding as needed
• perform light housekeeping related to client care, such as laundry, dishes, and tidying
• provide companionship and engagement that supports emotional well-being
• observe and promptly report changes in a client’s condition, behavior, or environment to the office
• document care accurately and on timeincluding clock-in/out and visit notes
• arrive on time for scheduled shifts and follow call-out and shift-change procedures
• protect client privacy and confidentiality in line with hipaa and agency policy
• provide transportation to appointments and errands using client's vehicles

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina CNA license in good standing on the SC Nurse Aide Registry (required)
• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience; home health or home care experience preferred (home care, facility, hospital, or private duty)
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and valid SC driver's license
• Able to Pass a Drug screen and Background Check
• Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it before first shift
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto
