Job summary

Dawson and Dawson Home Care LLC is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants for in-home, one-on-one care in Beaufort County. Positions include full-time and part-time roles with hourly pay between $18 and $21.

CNA license in SC and dementia-care experience required; CPR/First Aid preferred. Responsibilities cover personal care, mobility, meals, medications reminders, and safety, in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina CNA license in good standing.
• 1–2 years nursing experience; home health or home care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management abilities.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation and valid SC driver’s license.
• Able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willing to obtain before first shift.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care per client plan (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinence).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning and fall prevention.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals per dietary needs; assist with feeding as needed.
• Light housekeeping related to client care (laundry, dishes, tidying).
• Provide companionship to support emotional well-being.
• Observe and report changes in client condition or environment to office.
• Document care accurately (clock-in/out and visit notes).
• Attend shifts on time; follow call-out and shift-change procedures.
• Maintain client privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA and policy.
• Provide transportation to appointments using client’s vehicle.

Dawson & Dawson Home Care is hiring dependable, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide one-on-one, in-home care to seniors and adults in our community. You will help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home, following each client’s individualized plan of care.

MUST HAVE PRIOR AND HANDS ON EXPERIENCE WITH DEMENTIA CLIENTS AND BEHAVIORS, ALZHEIMERS, REDIRECTING BEHAVIOR, TRANSFERRING, TOILETING, AND CHANGING BED BOUND CLIENTS.

Key Responsibilities

• arrive on time for scheduled shifts and follow call-out and shift-change procedures
• protect client privacy and confidentiality in line with hipaa and agency policy
• provide transportation to appointments and errands using client's vehicles

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina CNA license in good standing on the SC Nurse Aide Registry (required)
• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience; home health or home care experience preferred (home care, facility, hospital, or private duty)
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and valid SC driver's license
• Able to Pass a Drug screen and Background Check
• Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it before first shift
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto
