Interim HealthCare Inc. in Erie, PA is seeking a Nursing Assistant for a full-time 3p-11p shift, every other weekend. The role involves providing essential personal care in facilities and collaborating with physicians, RNs, LPNs, and aides to ensure high-quality patient care.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals and document changes, and must hold PA CNA and CPR certifications with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in PA.
• CPR Certification.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and show compassion with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities.
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver patient care.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutrition.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, monitor intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment.

Overview: Full-time 3p-11p with every other weekend required.

Compensation: $22 hourly

Job Responsibilities

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers and hospitals.
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment.

Requirements
