Job summary

Always Best Care Senior Services in Smyrna is seeking a compassionate CNA caregiver to support seniors in the Smyrna area. You will assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and provide engaging companionship.

This role offers flexible scheduling (part-time & full-time), day and night shifts, and weekly pay. A clean background check, CPR/First Aid and TB test are required; CNA license is preferred, with home care training/experience

Qualifications

• Background check (Live Scan) and fingerprinting required.
• Reliable transportation with insurance.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. (I-9 compliant).
• CPR + First Aid and TB test or chest X-ray required.
• CNA license desired.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Bath/Groom/Dress
• Provide transportation services and basic errands (pharmacy, grocery store, etc.)
• Provide meals and conduct light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Mobility assistance
• Toiletry assistance
• Companionship to help seniors enjoy their interests (attending senior centers or church, playing board games or cards, reading books, watching movies, taking walks)
• Maintain a detailed record of services provided and client's current conditions through our online portal
• Notify Care Coordinator of major changes or incidents during your shift

Job Requirements:

• Clean criminal background check
• Live Scan / Fingerprinting
• Reliable transportation with insurance
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. (Compliant with I-9 requirements.) ex: 2 forms of ID- Driver's License or Identification/passport or Permanent Resident ID/Social Security Card
• Formal training or experience in the home care field or school for at least 6 months is desired
• CPR + First Aid and TB test or chest X-ray required
• CNA License desired
