Job summary

Williamston House is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care, assist with daily living activities, and support the nursing team. You will monitor health, assist with ADLs, and promote residents' dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and completion of state-approved CNA program.
• Minimum 1 year in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of nursing care procedures and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with eating, hydration, and nutrition.
• Measure and record vital signs; observe changes and report to nursing staff.
• Assist with medication reminders and basic healthcare tasks under supervision.
• Foster relationships with residents and encourage participation in activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment.
