Job summary

The Ridge Cottonwood is seeking Care Partners/CNAs to join our warm Salt Lake City area community. We offer full-time and part-time roles with no certification required and training provided, including CNA class reimbursement options.

Qualifications

• Not required to be a CNA - training will be provided.
• Dedication to serving seniors with strong customer service.
• Positive attitude and teamwork essential.
• Experience with seniors preferred.
• Ability to make decisions in residents' best interests.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment and problem solving.
• GED or high school diploma preferred.
• Minimum age 16; prior LTC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered personal care incl. bathroom assistance, washing, dressing, vitals, and social support.
• Assist residents with transferring, repositioning, and walking with proper techniques.
• Deliver dining support and assist with meals, snacks, and supplements.
• Document resident care and behavior.

Responsibilities of a Caregiver / Care Partner / CNA:

• Assist residents in transferring, repositioning and walking using correct transfer techniques and equipment
• Deliver a positive dining experience and assist residents with meals, snacks and supplements
• Document resident care and behavior

Qualifications of a Caregiver / Care Partner / CNA:

• You are not required to be a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) - we will train the right candidates
• Dedication to and passion to serve seniors with excellent customer service skills
• Positive attitude, the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents and the ability to work in a team environment are keys to success
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident’s best interest
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding
• Competent in organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
• High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required.
• Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
