Job summary

The Ridge Cottonwood is seeking Caregivers, Care Partners and CNAs in Holladay, UT. No CNA certification required; we offer CNA class costs and training. A $500 sign-on bonus is available in October.

We have both full-time and part-time roles at a respected Salt Lake City area senior living community. We provide PATH to advancement with CNA tuition reimbursement and education programs, plus a caring team environment, PTO with flexible holidays, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Not required to be a CNA; training provided.
• Dedication to and passion to serve seniors with excellent customer service.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team.
• Experience with seniors preferred.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered personal care including bathroom assistance, washing, dressing/undressing, obtaining vital signs, and social support
• Assist residents in transferring, repositioning and walking using correct transfer techniques and equipment
• Deliver a positive dining experience and assist residents with meals, snacks and supplements
• Document resident care and behavior

• You are not required to be a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) - we will train the right candidates
• Dedication to and passion to serve seniors with excellent customer service skills
• Positive attitude, the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents and the ability to work in a team environment are keys to success
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident’s best interest
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding
• Competent in organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
• High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required.
• Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
