Job Opportunity: Resident Assistant at Meadows Assisted Living & Memory Care

Are you a compassionate, mature, kind, and dependable individual who enjoys helping others, especially older adults? Join our well-respected, family-owned senior living community in Spring Green, WI, where residents receive excellent care and team members become friends.

As a Resident Assistant, you will bring joy to residents by providing hands-on care and support alongside a dedicated team, including licensed nurses. Responsibilities:

  1. Providing direct resident care according to each resident's Plan of Care, promoting their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. Tasks include grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility assistance, oral care, and more.
  2. Administering medications as prescribed.
  3. Measuring vital signs, weights, and collecting specimens.
  4. Documenting observations and care in electronic health records.
  5. Assisting with meals and nutritional intake.
  6. Updating nurses with physical and social observations.
  7. Engaging residents in social activities and group interactions.

Qualifications:

  1. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  2. Capability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and support up to 100 pounds.
  3. Preferred: At least three months of experience working with seniors.
  4. Preferred: Completion of CBRF training.
