Job Title: Resident Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct resident care according to each resident's person-centered Plan of Care (POC), encouraging residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. This includes:
• Grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, incontinent care, mobility, transferring, oral care, etc.
• Administer medications.
• Take vital signs, weights, and collect specimens.
• Document observations and information in electronic health records.
• Assist with meals, delivering meals or supporting nutritional intake.
• Update nurses with physical and social observations.
• Engage residents in social activities, both one-on-one and group settings, during meals and activities.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds; support up to 100 pounds.
• Preferably, have three or more months of work experience with seniors.
• Prior completion of CBRF training is preferred.
