Job summary

BrightStar Care of Salt Lake City is seeking compassionate CNAs and Caregivers to support clients in Salt Lake Valley. You will assist with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility, following each client's plan of care.

As part of a team with RN oversight, you may work in-home or in facility settings, with flexible shifts and opportunities for weekly pay and bonuses. Join us to make a meaningful impact while balancing your life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified CPR required.
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
• Licensed driver with own insured vehicle.
• Ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Empathy for clients' needs.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care as directed by a nursing supervisor (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, vital signs).
• Provide care per the patient's plan (feeding, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation).

Responsibilities of Certified Nursing Assistants - CNAs and Caregivers:

• Providing personal care as directed by a nursing supervisor, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and taking vital signs.
• Providing care according to the patient's plan of care, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation.

Requirements for Certified Nursing Assistants - CNAs and Caregivers:

• High school diploma or GED
• Certified CPR
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Licensed driver with their own insured and reliable automobile
• Ability to work with little direct supervision
• Empathy for the needs of the client
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
• Treats clients, staff, and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive public image.
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
