Job summary
Pine Village in Kansas is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate resident care under the supervision of a nurse.
You will assist with activities of daily living, document care and weight, help with mobility, and support dining services while protecting residents' rights and privacy. Applicants must have CNA certification, CPR/BLS, and at least one year of long-term care experience; a strong teamwork mindset is essential.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- At least one year of experience as a CNA in long-term care.
- Must have no disciplinary action against certification.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Responsibilities
- Provides CNA services to residents per care plans and supervisor direction.
- Assists residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
- Assists with lifting, turning, positioning, and transfers.
- Coordinates dining room services, meal setup, delivery, and intake documentation.
- Weighs residents as required and records data for nurse review.
- Documents progress on flow sheets and reports changes to nurses.
