Job summary

Hospice of Marion County, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a caring CNA to work the night shift at our Hospice House in Ocala, FL. This role involves 12-hour shifts from 7pm to 7am with a 36-hour work week, providing end-of-life care in a compassionate setting.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of CNA experience and hold a Florida CNA license. A valid Florida driver’s license may be required for transportation between facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• One to Three Years of training and/or experience required.
• Licensure: Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).
• Valid Florida State Driver’s License (optional depending on assignment).

Responsibilities

• Assist patient in maintenance of good personal hygiene and promote a healthful, clean and safe environment.
• Prepares and serves regular and special diets as directed; assists with feeding as needed.
• Gives partial or complete bath or shower and provides oral hygiene.
• Changes bed linen as required by care center practices or at patient/family request.
• Performs housekeeping, laundry, kitchen cleanup, or other duties as needed.
