Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital, an extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center, is hiring a full-time CNA for night shifts in Reno. The role focuses on safe, compassionate nursing assistant care and supporting the healthcare team to deliver Patient Centered Care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited CNA program.
• Current Nevada CNA license.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Completes bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift. Ensures patient is provided with the names and contact numbers for members of the care team on the communication board every shift.
• Meets with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks.
• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care.

Education

Graduate of an accredited C.N.A program

Current Nevada C.N.A. license

Current BLS certificate
