Job summary

EliteCare is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant in Milwaukie, OR. You will assist residents with ADLs, provide personal care, and offer emotional support. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential, as is a valid Oregon CNA license.

Shift coverage includes Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday, with a half-day on Wednesday. Compensation ranges from $23.00 to $27.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Oregon-endorsed CNA license required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and reside in Oregon.
• 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs and daily activities.
• Support residents with personal care, bathing, and dressing.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to residents.
• Monitor and report changes in health and behavior to the team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents and staff.

This includes hygiene assistance and providing emotional support and encouragement, monitoring and reporting changes in health and behavior, and supporting the overall needs of our residents. You will be genuinely interested in supporting our residents and their team members. Experience working with seniors is a plus; however, it is not required. Other requirements include valuing and respecting our residents and having consistent attendance and a reliable method of transportation; the ability to correspond and document properly for resident charting purposes; and excellent communication skills.Shift: Sunday-Wednesday 6-6 or Wednesday-Saterday, 6-6.
