Good Samaritan Society is hiring a Bath Aide, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Bloomfield, NE. The role supports residents with daily living activities, vital signs, and mobility under RN supervision in a long-term care setting.

The position offers 8-hour day shifts, full-time status, and a sign-on bonus. Eligible employees receive health, dental, vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan along with paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Required CNA certification with State Board of Nursing, or certification in process within four months.
• A minimum of 12 hours continuing education required annually.
• In applicable states, certified/registered with the UAP Registry; may require Sanford driving policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance as per care plan.
• Assist with transferring, positioning, and ROM exercises using proper techniques.
• Assist with meals, bathing, grooming, and vital signs documentation; ensure a positive dining experience.
• Follow infection prevention policies and PPE usage; communicate changes to the charge nurse.
