Job summary

High Point Residence Fox Valley is seeking compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our care team. In this role you will provide hands-on assistance, emotional support, and personalized care to residents in a warm, safe setting.

We schedule 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am) with every other weekend availability required, and you will work with the nursing and wellness teams to monitor residents, assist with ADLs, document vital signs, and respond to call lights

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
• Experience in long-term care, assisted living, supportive living, or memory care settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Support residents during mealtimes and assist with feeding when needed
• Obtain and accurately document vital signs
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation
• Observe, document, and promptly report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
• Respond courteously and promptly to resident call lights and requests
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized resident environment
• Change bed linens, restock supplies, and assist with light housekeeping tasks
• Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life through compassionate care
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Wellness Director or nursing supervisor
