Ideal candidates hold a Texas Nurse Aide certification in good standing, with English communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas Nurse Aide certification in good standing.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions and communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of residents and environment.
• Support feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility as assigned.
• Operate EMR charting system to document care and observations.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
