Job summary

Sierra Valley Rehab Center in Porterville, CA is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our compassionate team. We offer part-time and all-shift opportunities with a starting wage of $17/hour and a supportive work environment focused on resident well-being.

As a CNA, you will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and ensure safety and comfort. Prior LTC experience is preferred but not required; CPR certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid California CNA certification.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately.
• Reliable, team-oriented and dedicated to quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and other measurements.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Maintain clean and safe resident environments.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Ensure proper documentation and follow care plans.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
