Job summary

Sierra Valley Rehab Center in Porterville, CA is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, ensuring comfort, safety and dignity, and supporting the nursing team across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid California CNA certification.
• CPR certification required or willingness to obtain on hire.
• Experience in long-term care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and other measurements.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing staff.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and ROM exercises.
• Maintain clean and safe resident environments and document care plans.
