Responsibilities

• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs using EMR ECP.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support.
• Encourage resident independence while offering appropriate assistance.
• Monitor residents and report changes to staff.
• Respond to resident requests with compassionate care.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and dining support.

Responsibilities

A CNA picking up shifts through Elite Medical Staffing at an assisted living facility may be expected to:

• Utilize EMR ECP to record patients’ medical information and vital signs
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and support with ambulation as needed
• Encourage and promote resident independence while providing appropriate assistance
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or overall well-being to appropriate staff
• Respond promptly to resident requests and provide compassionate resident-centered care
• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and dining support as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful living environment
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
• Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active CNA Certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in assisted living
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
• Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
• Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

Credentials Required

• Active and unencumbered WI CNA Certification
• Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport
• Resume
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement
