Elite Medical Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Per Diem shifts in The Villages, FL. This role offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay with shifts that fit your availability.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of SNF CNA experience, an active FL CNA certification, reliable transportation, and a commitment to high-quality patient care. You will document vitals, assist with ADLs, and support the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Active FL CNA certification required.
• Minimum 1 year CNA experience in skilled nursing (SNF).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation to facilities.
• Must pass background and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Record patients' vital signs and medical information in EMR.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Provide safe transfers, repositioning, and mobility assistance.
• Document and monitor vital signs and resident observations.
• Respond to call lights and requests for help promptly.
• Report changes to nursing staff and supervisors.
• Assist with meals and hydration when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, infection-controlled environment.

Job Summary

Elite Medical Staffing is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for skilled nursing opportunities in The Villages, FL. This position offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and the ability to pick up shifts that fit your availability.

Responsibilities

A CNA picking up shifts through Elite Medical Staffing at a skilled nursing facility may be expected to:

• Utilize EMRto record patients’ medical information and vital signs
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide safe transfers, repositioning, and mobility assistance using proper body mechanics
• Obtain and document vital signs and other resident observations as assigned
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance
• Report changes in resident condition, behavior, or concerns to the nursing team
• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and feeding when needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment while following infection control practices
• Support the nursing team in delivering quality resident-centered care
• Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active CNA Certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in skilled nursing
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
• Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
• Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

Credentials Required

• Active and unencumbered FLCNA Certification
• Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport
• CPR (Red Cross, HIS, American Heart)
• Tuberculosis (TB) Test or Chest X-Ray
• Covid-19 Vaccine (religious/medical exemptions accepted)
• ADRD Certificate
• Resume
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement
