Cypress Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our afternoon shift from 2PM to 10PM. You will provide compassionate patient care, monitor vital signs, assist with daily living activities, and help implement individualized care plans alongside the interdisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes maintaining accurate records, promoting a safe environment, and participating in quality improvement initiatives to uphold high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Texas is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, assistance with activities of daily living, and medication administration
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and services provided
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Promote a safe and infection‑free environment for patients and staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care
