Job summary

Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton, Iowa, is seeking a Patient Services Technician to join the health care team. The PST will perform basic nursing care and assist with patient care tasks in a small community hospital with four clinics nearby.

Qualifications include CNA certification or enrollment in a CNA program and current BCLS certification. The position emphasizes patient interaction, inventory management, and maintaining clean, safe patient areas.

Qualifications

• Maintains current BCLS certification.
• At least 16 years of age and attending High School, High School graduate or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic nursing care in a hospital setting.
• Performs touch up cleaning of the Nurse's Station, patient rooms, and the employee lounge.
• Responsible for inventory control and restocking of patient areas, storage rooms, ER, exam rooms and the Nurse's Station.

Position Summary

The Patient Services Technician is a member of the health care team

3. Responsible for inventory control and restocking of patient areas, storage rooms, Emergency Room, exam rooms and the Nurse's Station

Minimum Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or enrolled in an approved certification CNA program.
