Job summary

Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton, IA is seeking a Patient Services Technician to join the health care team. The PST provides basic nursing care in a hospital setting and supports the Nursing Station, patient rooms, and common areas to maintain a clean, safe environment.

Minimum qualifications include a current CNA certification or enrollment in a CNA program, being at least 16 years old with a High School/GED, and maintaining BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or enrolled in an approved CNA program.
• At least 16 years of age and attending High School, High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Maintains current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• The PST performs basic nursing care in a hospital setting.
• The PST performs touch up cleaning of the Nurse's Station, patient rooms, and the employee lounge.
• Responsible for inventory control and restocking of patient areas, storage rooms, Emergency Room, exam rooms and the Nurse's Station.
