Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse in healthcare facilities. The role supports the personal needs and comforts of patients through a range of direct care activities.

Locations include Buffalo, Lewiston, and Rome, NY, with Contract - Full Time and Travel assignments. Certification as a Nursing Assistant, CPR when applicable, and meeting state requirements

Qualifications

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care under supervision of RN/LPN or other licensed medical professional.
• Perform a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services.

The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient careactivities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for thepersonal needs and comforts of patients.
