Job summary

Apploi is seeking an Activities Assistant for a faith-based senior care facility in Florida. The role focuses on coordinating engaging activities, including live entertainment and off-site outings, to support residents’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is a plus. You will follow individualized plans for residents with dementia and work closely with staff to tailor activities to preferences and abilities.

• Participate in engaging activities including live entertainment, off-site daytrips that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being for residents.

• Collaborate with staff to ensure activities align with residents' preferences and abilities.
• Facilitate recreational therapy sessions aimed at enhancing residents' quality of life.
• Maintain accurate records of participation and outcomes related to activities.
